Navacerrada is one of the most famous spots in the Sierra de Guadarrama, especially when there is snow on the mountain.
🔹 Points of interest during the activity

• Mirador de las Canchas → the big viewpoint of the valley, a must-stop.
• Barranca Reservoirs → small but very picturesque.
• Scots pine forest → very photogenic, especially with snow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Technical Information:

THIS TRAIL IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS OR INEXPERIENCED HIKERS. NO DRAMA.
This circular hike of medium–hard difficulty is 14 km long with an elevation gain of 450 m. We will take about 5 hours to complete it.
The path combines narrow trails and wider tracks, with some steep and slippery sections.
We will start in Navacerrada town and enter the Valle de la Barranca. Afterwards, we will hike along the Senda Ortiz, considered one of the best trails in Madrid.
⏱ Return to Madrid: between 5:00 and 6:00 pm.

🚍 By bus:

We will meet at the Moncloa Bus Station (Isla 2, Dársena 21) to take bus 691 at 08:30 am, departure at 08:45 am.
Bus fare: 3€ one way, 3€ return. The bus is free with the Abono Joven and also with the Zone C3 travel pass.

🚗 By car:
You can also drive your own car and meet us in Navacerrada town, at Restaurante Félix el Segoviano (Paseo de los Españoles, Navacerrada). Around 10:00 am.

🍴 Food: your lunch and snacks.
💧 Water: at least 1.5 L (bring enough for yourself).
🥾 Footwear: hiking or sports shoes.
👕 Light clothing: thin shirt or light jersey.
🧢 Accessories: summer cap.
😊 Attitude: good vibes are always a plus!
🌧 Rain: bring a rain jacket in your backpack just in case.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cost / Charges: The Charges are only 10€. pay online. in case you paid and later you are not able to join the hike, you are NOT losing your payment, just let me know by whatsapp and then you can use this reservation for any future hike. The Price (10€) includes only Hike guide, everyone must pay by own public transport charges, which are mention above. if you want insurance, It is possible to arrange a personalized accident insurance for only 5€ providing name, surname and ID/Passport Number.

3. All our hiking events are lead by experience hiking guide, who sets the pace of the group, stops, etc. The Guide have the Right to block the person from the Group in case of misbehave, bad vibes or messing with other members of the Group.

4. All our events are accessible by Madrid Public Transport. We do not offer any type of Travel or Accident insurance.
