Hike / Event full information 👇

New hiking trial at san juan. we will explore the stunning San Juan Reservoir which is often considered as Madrid´s main beach. The hike is ranked as basic level, no longer than 6km and will mainly go alongside the reservoir coast line. Once we have set the picnic area, we will stay there during 2/3 hours while swimming, sunbathing and relaxing.

Difficulty: Basic Level

Hike Type: Loop

Maximum altitude: 890m.

Elevation change: 350m.

Estimated Event Duration: 5-6 hours (depending on pace and stops)
Leaving Madrid: 9:15am
Coming back to Madrid: 17:00 or 18:00pm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How to get there?

By Bus: We are meeting outside of the metro station (Cuatro vientos) You can reach to Cuatro vientos by metro line 10. Meeting point is just out side of the station, please take Paseo de extremadura exit. Meeting time 9:00am. if someone get late, Sorry we will not wait. our bus number 551 will be leaving at 09:15am.

One way on the bus cost is 5,10€. Abono joven and people with Transport card C2 can travel for Free.

Please bring change or a 5€ bill for the bus driver. Bus Driver not Accepting Card Payments, Only Cash.

• Hiking shoes or sneakers. Trainers/tennis shoes are ok for this hike.

• A small backpack for your stuff

• 1,5L of water or other soft drinks per person. PLEASE DON´T BRING LESS, as there are no fountains nor any water point in the whole route. but you can buy water or drinks next to the picnic area.

• Your lunch

• Sunscreen & sunglasses

• A hat or a cap.

• A small sheet for setting at picnic spot. flip flop, swimming kit
  

in case of Rain we are not going to cancel this event. please bring rainy jacket or a small umbrella.

The Charges are only 10€. pay online. Only accepting reservations by website. in case you paid and later you are not able to join the hike, you are NOT losing your payment, just let me know by whatsapp and then you can use this reservation for any future hike. The Price (10€) includes only Hike guide and accident insurance, everyone must pay by own public transport charges, which are mention above.

3. All our hiking events are lead by experience hiking guide, who sets the pace of the group, stops, etc. The Guide have the Right to block the person from the Group in case of misbehave, bad vibes or messing with other members of the Group.
